Restroom entry only on payment, without staff at the door.
Controlled access to a public restroom — coin, card or token instead of someone standing at the door all day.
When this makes sense
- A public restroom in a shopping centre, station or public office needs charging without permanent staff at the door.
- There's a problem with people entering without paying, or the space being used for other purposes.
- You need a daily report of entries and revenue, without manual counting.
- The site already has a queue system or access control and wants an additional payment line.
When it doesn't
- The restroom is part of a free service and charging isn't a business goal.
- User numbers are small, and on-site staff already control entry without needing automation.
- The space is too small for a turnstile or door barrier — a simple coded electronic lock is then enough.
How it works
- 01
Payment terminal
The user pays by coin, card or token at a terminal next to the entrance.
- 02
Passage opening
A turnstile, waist-high barrier or electronic lock unlocks once payment is confirmed.
- 03
One entry per payment
The mechanism admits exactly one user per transaction, with no way to split the pass.
- 04
Traffic tracking
Every transaction is logged with a timestamp, so entry counts and revenue match.
- 05
Report
Daily and monthly traffic data is available through the software, without manual counting at the end of a shift.

Questions
How is it prevented that two people enter on one payment?
The mechanism unlocks for exactly one pass per transaction and relocks, the same way as turnstiles on other entrances.
Does revenue match the entry count?
Yes, every transaction is logged together with the passage opening, so entries and revenue can be compared directly.
What payment methods does the system support?
Coin, card or token, depending on what's practical for the location — combining several methods is common.
Is staff needed at the door?
Not for day-to-day operation — the terminal and passage mechanism run on their own; staff are only needed for maintenance and collecting payment.
